What to Expect

Thinking about joining our church family in worship one Sunday?

Here’s what you can expect.

As you arrive to our building, signs will direct you to the back (South side) of our building where you will find lots of parking and the entrance.

Our church members can help you find your way to coffee, sanctuary, or kids check-in and classrooms.

You will likely see a variety of attire: anything from jeans and a T-shirt to a little more dressed up. We encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

We have classrooms where our kids learn about the Bible with age-appropriate lessons presented by teachers who are passionate about the discipleship of our young people. We have five different classrooms available: babies (1-12 mos), Walkers/Toddlers (1-2 yrs), Pre-K (3-5 yrs), K-2nd grade, and 3rd-5th grade.

Once checked-in to their classrooms, our K-2nd and 3rd-5th graders walk down to worship in the sanctuary. Our students beyond 5th grade do not have their own Sunday morning class at this time, but we invite them to participate in our primary worship gathering.*

Our worship gatherings in the sanctuary begin at 10:00am. They often include worship through song & prayer, standing to hear Scripture read aloud, pastoral teaching on Scripture, and taking communion. Our preaching style is exegetical, meaning that we mostly preach through entire books of the Bible over the course of several weeks or months. We do this in order to learn about God’s word in its larger literary context, as well as to avoid skipping over challenging or uncomfortable passages. We believe that if you come enough Sundays, this type of preaching style would eventually take us through the whole Bible.

If you have more questions at the end of our gathering, feel free to speak with anyone wearing a nametag or fill out a connection card located in the seat backs (which can then be placed in an offering box).

Whether you continue connecting with our church family or another, we pray that you would come to know Christ more through his Body- the Church universal.
